Dairy free and gluten free cake

Chocolate Date Slice

 

2 Cups of dates, sliced

1 cup of almond meal/LSA

¾ cup of buck flour

3 eggs

¼ cup of raw cocoa

Baking powder

Pinch of salt

 

Simmer the chopped dates in a little layer of water, until all the water is dissolved, and the dates form a paste-like consistency.

 

In a separate bowl, mix the ‘dry’ ingredients, the flour with the almond meal, raw cocoa, baking powder and the pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, and add to the dates. Now mix the dates and eggs to the dry ingredients. Add the mixture in a baking tray or oven dish so that you have a layer of approximately 3 cm. Of batter.

 

Put in the oven for approximately 30 min. or until a chopstick comes at clean.
